A SOTURNOS é uma banda maranhense que começou no ano de 2006,em São Luís. Alguns dos integrantes vindos de outras formações. O elo de ligação para começar a SOTURNOS, foi exatamente a preferência por não tocar cover... Durante esse tempo, pequenas mudanças foram feitas, como algumas substituições na bateria. Não definimos um estilo para a banda,que tem influências por parte do punk rock e metal...Bebendo de fontes como Type O'negative, Sepultura, Black Sabath, Ozzy, Motohead, Slayer, Ramones, Nirvana, Dead Kennedy, entre outras, gostamos muito de bandas com pegadas características e personalidade sem contar o material maranhense que a galera ta produzindo. Soturnos is a band from Maranhão / Brazil that started in 2006 in the city of São Luís. Some of its Integrants come from some other bands. The link to start Soturnos was exactly the choice of not playing any cover songs. Since the band was formed, a few changes have been made, such as on drums. There is no styles definitions to our work that is influenced for punk rock and metal stuff such as Sepultura, Black Sabath, Ozzy, Motohead, Slayer, Ramones, Nirvana, Dead Kenned among others. We like bands that has its own personal style of playing as well as some of the new material that has been produced here in Maranhão.
